Voor ‘Schuur’ werd ik gevraagd een tuinhuis te ontwerpen. Via een tuinhuisbouwbedrijf werden tientallen lopende meters resthout verkregen. Deze ontwerpparameter genereerde een mecano-houtstructuur. Dakbedekking en glaspartijen werden uitgevoerd met materiaal afkomstig van de afgebroken schuur. De gevelbeplanking is voorzien in gebrand hout (een subtiele link naar zijn passie voor vuur). Zowel de deur als kippenluik kunnen makkelijk worden ingewerkt dankzij een verticale beplanking.

These formed the design parameters to make a mecano-structure. THe roof and glass were re-used from the dismantled shed. The facade is of burned planks, vertically assembled. Doing so the entrance door and the chicken gangplank make nicely part of the whole.
